Cardiovascular Disease Modeling
The Entelos Cardiovascular PhysioLab® is a mathematical physiological model of the comprehensive systems biology and dynamic feedbacks that drive the development of atherosclerotic plaque formation. It models the progression and events associated with arthrosclerosis in a large set of virtual diseased patients with variable risk factors. The model has been extensively calibrated against clinical trial data for a variety of therapeutic interventions.
Currently approved therapeutics and relevant clinical outputs are represented in the model, thereby enabling researchers to simulate and evaluate the efficacy of novel pharmaceutical interventions.
The model provides enhanced insights, predictions and decisions throughout drug discovery and development – including target and biomarker selection, species translation, clinical trial design and patient stratification.
