Rheumatoid Arthritis Modeling
The Entelos Rheumatoid Arthritis PhysioLab® is a mechanistic physiological model of rheumatoid arthritis. It represents the dynamics of rheumatoid arthritis in a joint, which is characterized by chronic inflammation and progressive structural damage.
The model enables the simulation of the relationships of key cell types and mediators in the inflamed joint following treatment with various pharmaceutical therapies. Relevant clinical outputs such as ACR and DAS scores can be generated and analyzed.
The model allows the evaluation of promising new therapies throughout the drug discovery research and development continuum. It supports target and biomarker selection, species translation, clinical trial design and patient stratification.
